Open Question: Does anyone know how to increase touchscreen sensitivity on the Odyssey M001 Cell Phone?
Hey guys, I’m planning to buy a cheaper alternative to the iphone. I don’t really care about the speed or lag, I just need something to help me pass the time during long boring travels and I don’t wanna carry one of everything…Any longer. So I decided on the Odyssey M001 Cell phone and plus my Nokia 6555b is dying… I was wondering if there is a way to make the touch screen more sensitive? Like change the configurations or change the screen to make it more user friendly. I know the Odyssey M001 is a pressured sensitive touchscreen and I wanna make it to heat sensitive because I do not like using styluses.

Any ideas? Anything? Help.

Open Question: problem child and the problem mom?
My step daughter is 8. She lies about everything, even if you saw her do it. When you ask her she swears she didn’t do crying and sometimes there isn’t enough evidence where i feel i am justified in punishing her. Then a month later you can get her to tell the truth for some reason. She got caught stealing something from school today. I don’t know what to do with her. She never really shows genuine feelings either its like she’s fake. Her real mom tells her to hide stuff from us. Has said she was going to kill us, then we move, she comes to visit from ohio and gets our daughter to show her where we live. Her mom has stolen in front if her and laughed about it. The 8 yr old loves her mom even though she talks crap about us every time she gets on the phone with her.(about 3 times a week.) And the 8 yr old enjoys her talking crap, and uses stupid stuff her momma said against us like she tells the truth.Until lately ive kept my mouth shut, but when she tells the child were bad for something we never did, I could not stand it. After all the things she has put us through i told the child about her mommas and the b/f’s threats.So when we move again she wont tell her where we moved. What i don’t understand is why the child lied about her mom having cancer. She told her grandma her momma had cancer and she wasn’t allowed to tell her dad. When we told the mom she was surprised. Unfortunately My husband’s mom didn’t tell us this stuff for like 2 months(helpful huh)so she had gotten away with it for a couple months already. The 8 yr old has told us she likes to lie to see if she can get away with.My husband says the mom has the right to talk to her daughter, i don’t think she does the way she starts crap and hurts her daughter. And you would think the child would understand how lying hurts. Her mom lies to her too. About what they are going to do, things she will get her stuff like that. I have grounded her for weeks, made her right essays, gone over commandments, told her it will affect the way people see her and my trust in her, people already don’t want to have her over sometimes. And she gets mouthy with adults when im not around. She is so embarrassing, i hate taking her anywhere. My husband and i have been together for 6 yrs. Only last year would i go to the beach or on vacation with her because it just wasn’t fun.Don’t get me wrong i take her to the park and little stuff, it just wasn’t relaxing with her at vacation. My husband also acted like i was crazy when i mentioned therapy. help.I just want to take my son and run. When she is good we go the park, on walks, this past weekend we took her to a hotel with a water slide. She gets good attention when she is good. When she misbehaves she gets grounded. This type of stuff has been going on for 3 yrs with her deceptive behavior.I have tried everything, spanking works the best but my husband and i hate it. So she has been grounded to doing chores (no more sitting on her keester) and is now writing an apology note for stealing from her class. She has had to sew up the items she has ripped, and she wasn’t able to buy a book at the book fair because she snuck all her money $15 to buy snacks. There is never a dull easygoing moment around here. Some one said before have her father start dealing with her. He’ll just talk till her ears fall off and then go to work the next day and leave me to deal with her. He works alot but doesn’t make enough to pay for therapy. And the mother well she wont even pay her mediation bill from 3 yrs ago. We ‘ve tried to talk to the mom about things like provocative clothes but does it any ways. And the teacher that i explained everything to in the beginning of the year hasn’t been sharing everything with me. She told my daughter it’s ok if you stole, yu won’t get punished. You probably got in enough trouble at home. She had to write sorry notes to her teachers, yeah way too harsh.

the question was, it is how to deal with a child that lies, steals, tears up her stuff, and how to deal with a crazy lady that tells her it is ok.

we have full custody now but for 7 years the mom brainwashed her telling mean lies about her daddy that i know just aren’t true
when i said i have to deal with her, he doesn’t punish he talks for them for about 30 min. a day. And i have no problem with her here as long as he is putting in effort withpout always making it sound like im a baby. But when she is acting up and no one at all helps and her mother encourages it and laughs i need more help. Like the bio parents say she is not yours
