Open Question: My father put me on a huge guilt trip on how I spent his money that he gave to me?
I have been really stressed about money lately. My father offered to send me some. (I’m in my early 30’s) When i received it in the mail. I cashed it and went to the supermarket and bought grocery’s and gas for my car. Later that day my father called and me to ask me if I got his check for $200. I said yes and thanked him. He asked me what I did with the monies and I told him that I bought food and got gas. He got extremely angry with me. And told me that I should have just “banked” that money. I explained to him that I needed food and gas. He put me on a huge guilt trip about it. He said things like “Couldn’t your mother have gotten you food?” I told him that mom already helped me this month with my eye doctor bill etc.
I mean what am I suppose to do? I got really upset with him on the phone I asked him if he would like me to starve? I don’t know what he expected me to use the money for. It was not a lot of money as it is. I don’t understand why he has to be like this?. As my father goes to Antique shows and spends thousands on paintings that he just stores in an empty bedroom. I feel that his priorities are not in order. How do I handle this issue with him? He will now always throw this up in my face , How I used his money wrong? I just don’t know what to do if this happenes next time. I suppose I could lie to him and tell him that I banked it. it’s just a shame that I can’t tell him how I used his money.

Open Question: I like him, I was sure he liked me, what’s his problem?
There is this guy that I work with who I was sure liked me but now, I’m so confused and I really have no idea.

We met about a year ago and the first night I met him, my instincts told me that he liked me, he was really friendly and really outgoing with me and once I had finished my work and pretty much told that I was one shift away from being fired he was really reassuring. I didn’t see him for a while but when I did again he acted like we were best friends, my boss was teasing me and he came in, defending me playfully.
We have a lot of things in common and I recommended a new phone for him and he went out and bought it. I was going away and he came and visited me at work and gave me a CD which he had previously recommended to me.
He gave me a ton of compliments about how he thinks I’m really talented and all that, he teases me a bit and offers to get me things. He always came over and spoke to me, even if it was just a simple hi especially if I was talking to another guy however; it feels as if lately things have changed.
I don’t know if it’s my fault but he seems to be in a bad mood or really shy, he used to say hi and come over and talk to me but now he just says hi and walks off. He’s just seemed a bit distant I’ve also caught him looking at me and then looking away. It’s like all of a sudden he’s just observes from a distance, when we’re one on one things are great but at all other times its like he’s put up a bit of a wall. He’s still really smiley with me and happy and also notices changes in my appearance. It just seemed as if things were going really well and now they’ve just stopped.
There is a three year age gap between us two with him turning 20 three weeks ago and I’m turning 17 next month and I know he was shocked when he found out how young I was however, he found this out when we first met and still continued to act the way he did. What would make him change now? Some of our colleagues were saying that I was “very popular” at our workplace and asking if I had a boyfriend.

I am so confused, why has he gone so cold all of a sudden, did he even really like me in the first place?
