Open Question: What does a 3 didget # on your caller ID mean because…?
I got a call on my cell that read 239 while I was at work…I answered and they hung up. Then after work I was with a friend and when I came home my bf said a man called for me from an out of area #…I looked at the caller ID and again, 239!!! I only use my cell…I don’t even give my bf’s home phone out so I’m a little weirded out….
Why a 3 didget # that only has a busy tone when I call back???
btw…my bf said he asked for me by my first and last name and he hung up to quick for him to ask who was calling.
Open Question: charging phone works through computer via cable but not through batteries via cable?
So i’ve made a charger using a 4 cell AA pack. Previously, I successfully charged my phone doing so with my Samsung SGH-F480, I was proud. Now that I have the Omnia HD, this means new data cable.
So, I strip the wires leaving white and red on the data cable, red as positive and white as negative (I think) I test it out plugging it into the computer ONLY using white and red, leaving blue and green out. It charges. When I put it to my battery pack which would be 6V, it has no effect. If I how ever put the wires the opposite way, the phone dies (yes I know I shouldn’t do this).
How is this so? It works with the SGH-F480 but not with the Omnia HD?

Ok I just tried it using my SGH-F480 and it charge (but it says ‘insert memory card’ but still, charging.
Why is my Omnia HD not charging but is using computer?
Open Question: How to make a battery powered cell phone charger?
I’ve successfully made one with my SGH-F480 using a 4 cell AA pack and now I have a new Omnia HD. instead, i’m using a 6 cell AA pack. I got everything connected, red as positive and white as negative (or what ever) It doesn’t charge the phone but there are volts going through to the end point. I try to connect the wires up to the computer using USB and just using white and red, it charges the phone, leaving out the blue and green.
Although if I try to use batteries, it doesn’t charge. wtf? same wires and everything?
