Open Question: How can I live without a phone?
Let’s say I am getting rid of my landline home phone and I am only going to use a cell phone, let’s say I lost my cell phone or if my cell phone didnt work, what will happen in these cases:

1. Whose phone would I use if I have an emergency? I would only have a cell phone as my only number to get a hold of me and that will either be lost, stolen, or broken.

2. If I don’t pay my bills at all, would the bill collectors or anyone who has authority be able to trace my cell phone number and call my cell phone if I never pay my bills? Or if I need to get a hold of someone and I have no phone, what do I do? All I can depend on is a cell phone and maybe that’s why it was better to have 2 phones.

3. Would telemarketers get my cell phone number if they realized my old home phone number was shut off and I cancelled service on that?

4. Would I be considered unlisted or in the white pages? I know almost everyone is getting rid of their landline phone because of the economy and nowadays people use cell phones. So my one other question about this topic is would I be available in the white pages if all I have is a cell phone and I moved to a new address or be considered unlisted? What would happen anyway to the phonebook white pages if everyone uses cell phones now and live in a current address?

I need answers on this please. I know that’s 4 questions but this is all on one topic about the cell phone. Thanks.
