Open Question: Will a US Cellular HTC Pro 2 work on a T-mobile network?
I bought a US cellular HTC Pro 2 from a friend and i am having a difficult time unlocking it. I have an unlock but i do not even know how to put it to use because the phone does not prompt me to enter any unlock code. So i started to suspect that it’s already unlocked but i cannot use it to call. Please help me. Just tell me if it will work on T-mobile or not and if yes how can i get it to work…thanks a lot

Open Question: Question about cellular phone features back in 1991,…?
Did they have that instand dial option back then? You know, like, after you dial a phone number of your modern cellular phone nowadays, it shows that number as a list of numbers you dialed, and then all you do is press one button and it dials it instanly without it even as so much sounding like it’s dialing fast, but rather it dials at light speed?

The reason I ask this is because in that movie “Bill and Ted’s Bogus Journey”, which came out in 1991, that scene near the beginning where after their 2 girlfriends were driving away in a car, like 2 seconds later, one of them call their apartment, Bill picks up, she says “HELLO, BILL!”, in a very rude sarcastic manner, and he gets all surprised saying “How did you call us so fast?” I know car phones existed even before the 1990s, but did they have that lightspeed dialing option?

Was this a state of the art option that they ONLY USED for the movie, without revelaing it to the public until years later, because one of the reasons might have been that the people who did have this option in real life, could just laugh and say that already exists, meaning, this option wasn’t even available to citiziens with lots of money, an option that was state of the art that people were not supposed to tell others about?

OR,
Was her voice in that scene just a previous recording, where, no such lightspeed dialing ever existed back then?
BONUS QUESTION,
When are they going to make cell phone chargers in the form of recessed fittings like they do with cordless house phones? The reason people don’t recharge their phone as much as they recharge cordless house phones is because it’s a hassle always having to pick up that prong from the wall charger and stick it into the phone. If people just say it down in a recressed charger like those cordless land line phones have, we wouldn’t have as many cases of cell phone batteries always being so low and dying on us.
HOWEVER, if that lightspeed dialing DID exist back then but they didn’t use it in the movie, meaning her voice was a recording in that scene, then WHY did government feel the need to hide it from all those years? Why didn’t they want us knowing? Were they afraid of the general public having that power? Did they think the general public wasn’t good enough back then to have that luxury?
